Our TAXI service

During your stay in Prague, we can offer you the services of our taxi drivers, who have been vetted by us. You can use their services also for transfers from the airport or from the bus/train station to the STOP CITY office or for taking you directly to the reserved accommodation facilities.

All Prague taxis have uniform prices, which are billed by a taximeter in the vehicle:
Price for getting into the car: 40,- CZK (= approx. 1,45 EUR)
Price per km travelled: 28,- CZK (= approx. 1,- EUR)

We guarantee that the drivers we have vetted are respectable and trustworthy and there is no chance that you will be swindled.

Are you flying into Prague or arriving by train and do you want to arrange transportation with one of our taxi drivers to the STOP CITY office or directly to the accommodation facility you have reserved?

Our taxi driver will wait for you at the airport or station at the stipulated time on the day of your arrival in Prague. He will hold a STOP CITY sign in his hand with your name on it.
He will take you to the STOP CITY office, where you will receive a map of the centre of Prague. We shall explain to you how to get to your accommodation facility. We will also provide you with information on Prague public transport and also give you all the information you need concerning your accommodation.
You can pay in the following currencies at our office: CZK, EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, AUD, CAD, DKK, NOK, SEK.

In the event that you are flying into Prague after the STOP CITY agency closes for the day (at either 8.00 p.m. or 9.00 p.m.), the driver will take you directly to the accommodation facility you have reserved. He will give you a map of Prague with your accommodation marked on it as well as a letter with information from our agency and the keys to the reserved accommodation facility.

The cost of this service depends on how long the taxi driver waits at the airport or station (in the event that the flight or train is delayed), and it should be somewhere in the following price range:

• transportation from the train st.:  300 – 400 CZK (= 11 – 14,50 EUR)
• transportation from the airport:    700 – 800 CZK (= 25 – 29,– EUR)

Prices apply for one taxi with a maximum capacity of five passengers (+ one driver). We can arrange two taxis or a minibus for larger groups. We can quote you a price for a minibus transfer upon request.

The day after your arrival, we will wait for you in our STOP CITY office at Vinohradská 24, Prague 2, where you will pay the amount owed for accommodation. You can pay in the following currencies: CZK, EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, AUD, CAD, DKK, NOK, SEK.

If you have reserved accommodation in a hotel, you needn’t visit our office at all. You pay the remaining amount owed for accommodation directly at the hotel.

The office of the STOP CITY agency is located in the centre of Prague at Vinohradská 24, Prague 2, approximately 400 m from Prague’s main thoroughfare Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí), which is dominated by the National Museum, an important historical building in the Czech capital.
The “MUZEUM” metro station on the “A” LINE is also beside the National Museum.
