Checking in to reserved accommodation

We will wait for you in the STOP CITY office on the day you are due to take up your reserved accommodation in Prague.

Checking in to the selected accommodation facility is possible between 2.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. (or 8.00 p.m. depending on the time of year). Clients who arrive after the office closing time will be charged a fee of 10 EUR for each commenced hour of waiting.

The office of the STOP CITY agency is located in the centre of Prague at Vinohradská 24, Prague 2, approximately 400 m from Prague’s main thoroughfare Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí), which is dominated by the National Museum, an important historical building in the Czech capital. The “MUZEUM” metro station on the “A” LINE is also beside the National Museum.

You pay the amount owed for the reserved accommodation at the office. You will receive a map of the centre of Prague and we shall explain to you how to get to your accommodation facility. We will also provide you with information on Prague public transport and also give you all the information you need concerning your accommodation. You can pay in the following currencies at our office: CZK, EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, AUD, CAD, DKK, NOK, SEK.

This method of checking in for your stay applies to all our clients who have reserved any form of accommodation apart from hotels!
Those of you who have a hotel reservation go directly to the hotel on the day you are due to take up your accommodation in Prague. The hotel is also where you will pay the amount owed for your stay. There is no time restriction on your arrival at the hotel. You can come during the day or throughout the night.

Are you flying into Prague or arriving by train after 9.00 p.m. (or 8.00 p.m.)?

We can offer you our taxi service for transportation directly to your reserved accommodation.
Of course, you can also use this service during the day when our office is open.

Our taxi driver will wait for you at the airport or station at the stipulated time on the day of your arrival in Prague. He will hold a STOP CITY sign in his hand with your name on it. He will give you a map of Prague with your accommodation marked on it as well as a letter with information from our agency and the keys to the reserved accommodation facility, where he will also take you.

The cost of this service depends on how long the taxi driver waits at the airport or station (in the event that the flight or train is delayed), and it should be somewhere in the following price range:

• transportation from the station: 300 – 400 CZK (= 11 – 14,50 EUR)
• transportation from the airport: 700 – 800 CZK (= 25 – 29,- EUR)

Prices apply for one taxi with a maximum capacity of five passengers (+ one driver). We can arrange two taxis or a minibus for larger groups. We can quote you a price for a minibus transfer upon request.

The day after your arrival, we will wait for you in our STOP CITY office at Vinohradská 24, Prague 2, where you will pay the amount owed for accommodation. You can pay in the following currencies: CZK, EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, AUD, CAD, DKK, NOK, SEK.

If you have reserved accommodation in a hotel, you needn’t visit our office at all. You pay the remaining amount owed for accommodation directly at the hotel.
