Cancellation terms and conditions - common terms ( season + low season)

In the event that a client cancels a binding reservation of accommodation less than 15 days before the stay that has been booked is due to start, or does not make use of the reservation without cancelling it in time (at least 15 days before the reserved stay starts), the STOP CITY agency will charge a CANCELLATION FEE.

A CANCELLATION FEE will be charged upon the cancellation of a reservation 4 - 15 days before the stay that has been booked commences:

• amounting to the price for one night’s accommodation
  • when a reservation has been made for one accommodation facility for 1 - 5 nights
    
    
• amounting to the price for two nights’ accommodation
  • when a reservation has been made for one accommodation facility for 6 - 9 nights
  • when a reservation has been made for two to three accommodation facilities for 1 - 5 nights
  • for all accommodation reservations that fall on TOP dates
    
    
• amounting to 30% of the overall price:
  • when a reservation has been made for one accommodation facility for 10 nights or longer
  • when a reservation has been made for two to three accommodation facilities for 6 nights or longer
    
    
• amounting to the price of one night’s accommodation or 20 - 30% of the total price of accommodation:
  • when a reservation has been made for accommodation in a hotel - the CANCELLATION FEE is always the same as the amount of the deposit necessary to reserve accommodation in the hotel. The exact amount of this deposit will always be dealt with on an individual basis.
    
    
• the method of reservation and the amount of the CANCELLATION FEE is agreed on an individual basis for group reservations for accommodation, for which four or more accommodation facilities are required, or for group reservations in hotels.

A CANCELLATION FEE will be charged upon the cancellation of a reservation 1 – 3 days before the stay that has been booked commences or in the event of a cancellation on the actual day on which the stay commences:

• amounting to 100% of the total price of the stay in the case of all reservations for 1 - 4 nights

• amounting to 75% of the total price of the stay in the case of all reservations for 5 nights

• amounting to 65% of the total price of the stay in the case of all reservations for 6 - 8 nights

• amounting to 50% of the total price of the stay in the case of all reservations for 9 - 15 nights

• amounting to 40% of the total price of the stay in the case of all reservations for 16 nights or more

Cancellation terms and conditions - TOP terms

In the event that a client cancels a binding reservation of accommodation in TOP TERMS less than 45 days before the stay that has been booked is due to start, or does not make use of the reservation without cancelling it in time (at least 45 days before the reserved stay starts), the STOP CITY agency will charge a CANCELLATION FEE:

• amounting to 30% of the overall price upon the cancellation of a reservation  45 - 31 days before the stay that has been booked commences
  
  
• amounting to 50% of the overall price upon the cancellation of a reservation 30 - 16 days before the stay that has been booked commences
  
  
• amounting to 80% of the overall price upon the cancellation of a reservation 15 - 8 days before the stay that has been booked commences
  
  
• amounting to 100% of the overall price upon the cancellation of a reservation  7 - 1 days before the stay that has been booked commences or in the event of a cancellation on the actual day on which the stay commences

A CANCELLATION FEE owed to the STOP CITY agency will be deducted from the credit card of the client who is obliged to pay a CANCELLATION FEE.

If a client has reserved accommodation with the STOP CITY agency through paying a deposit by bank transfer or with a postal order or credit card (using the “MAIL ORDER” form) or by making a cash payment in person at the STOP CITY office, this deposit will be used as a CANCELLATION FEE for the STOP CITY agency in the event that the client fails to observe the cancellation terms and conditions.

Setting off 50% of a CANCELLATION FEE against a subsequent reservation.

If a client who has paid a CANCELLATION FEE reserves other accommodation with the STOP CITY agency, he will be credited with a sum amounting to 50% of the CANCELLATION FEE that has been paid.

Setting off 50% of the CANCELLATION FEE applies for the reservation of other accommodation whose cost is at least the same as the full amount of the CANCELLATION FEE and which is reserved within six months of the day on which this CANCELLATION FEE is paid.

Example: If a client pays a CANCELLATION FEE amounting to 100 EUR, he will be given a discount of 50 EUR for the reservation of other accommodation with the STOP CITY agency. The price of this other accommodation must amount to at least 100 EUR and the reservation must be made within six months of the day on which the CANCELLATION FEE is paid.
