Description

The POLO boarding house with a total of 15 beds is located on the elevated ground floor of a building situated in a quiet street in the centre of the city. It offers very advantageously priced accommodation! There are 3 rooms furnished in a simple way, each with a private bathroom and toilet and a refrigerator, as well as one two-room apartment (also with private bathroom and toilet and refrigerator), furnished in the same way as the rooms. The rooms and the apartment are entered from a common, closed hall of the boarding house, in which a fully equipped kitchenette is located (dishes, cooker, electric kettle). This hall has a separate entrance from the house corridor and serves only to the customers of the boarding house. Other persons living on the upper floors of the house cannot access this hall. ___________________________________________________________

There will be a TV + SATELLITE RECEIVER with many tv chanels and a COMPUTER WITH A PERMANENT INTERNET CONNECTION (FREE OF CHARGE), in each room and in the apartment from 1.6.2007!

Location of boarding house

The POLO boarding house is located in the centre of Prague, near a small city park, ca. 1100 m far from Wenceslas Square (= the main Prague square). You can take a tram or a metro to the Old Town (=tourist centre of Prague). It is only ca. 10 min by tram, and the tram stop is ca. 150 m far from the boarding house. It is only 2 stations by metro (ca. 5 min.), and the nearest metro station is ca. 350 m far from the boarding house. You can use a tram to go to the metro station (only 1 stop). Dozens of various restaurant, bars, and pubs are located within a walking distance from the boarding house.

Parking

The POLO boarding house is situated on a smaller quiet street, where you can park free of charge. You can park in any of the streets in the neighbourhood free of charge as well (not guarded parking).
We recommend parking in the watched garages “Vinohradská” with non-stop operation, which are situated at the beginning of Vinohradská Street (beyond the crossroads of Vinohradská Street and Italská Street), and ca. 700 m far from the boarding house.
