The STOP CITY accommodation agency has been a successful tourism operator since 1991. In the 15 years since its inception, it has arranged accommodation and provided other services to tens of thousands of clients from all over the world. It specialises in providing short-term accommodation in apartments, boarding houses and hotels as well as rooms in family homes in the centre of Prague. It is able to look after the needs of a broad spectrum of customers, ranging from individuals travelling to Prague on their own to tour groups. It offers all types of accommodation. This includes very simple arrangements for less demanding clients, standard quality accommodation (at very advantageous prices) and luxury accommodation, which can satisfy even the most discerning clientele.

Most of our accommodation options are located in the tourist centre of Prague or in its immediate vicinity. The accommodation at our disposal includes more than 30 self-contained apartments, 15 hotels, 7 rooms in family homes, the POLO boarding house (= very attractively priced accommodation near the tourist centre for short-term stays) and the BRUSEL apartment building (= very attractively priced accommodation near the tourist centre for month-long stays). We can also offer very luxurious and spacious accommodation (up to 240 m2) in four or five-room apartments belonging to the MYSTIC apartment group.

We can arrange transfers from the airport or the bus/train station to the STOP CITY office or directly to the chosen accommodation facility. We cooperate with top-quality tourist agencies who specialise in walking tours of Prague as well as sightseeing tours of the city, daytrips and half-day trips with tours of the most important Bohemian castles and chateaux, and excursions to interesting historical cities in the Czech Republic. All these sightseeing trips are accompanied by a guide who speaks the required language.

Office location
Our office is located in the centre of Prague at Vinohradská 24, Prague 2, approximately 400 m from Prague’s main thoroughfare Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí), which is dominated by the National Museum, an important historical building in the Czech capital. The “MUZEUM” metro station on the “A” LINE is also beside the National Museum.
